Hi and welcome to our blog! We just wanted to take a chance to introduce ourselves and let you know what you can expect to see here. My name is Jacki and my husband is Mario. We are a vegetarian couple who love to garden, craft, and cook. Currently we both have "regular" jobs and live with my mom in an effort to save money to buy and build a homestead. Our goal is to live off the land and enjoy our simple, natural, lifestyle.
We currently don't have any children though we have been trying for awhile but we do have 3 amazing dogs and 2 crazy cats which are our babies.
We are not exactly where we want to be but we are slowly making the effort to grow as much of our own food as possible, eliminate as many chemicals as we can in our lives by using natural solutions and products, making more of our products such as soaps and clothing, and of course we are doing our best to save money to reach our goal of self sufficiency.
You can expect to see a wide range of topics here including anything related to gardening, cooking, cleaning, natural solutions and remedies, saving money, diy projects, living self sustainably, sewing, and crafts.
